Former Chicago Screenwriters Network President, Colin Costello is a WGA working screenwriter based in LA. His most recent feature is the 2013 family comedy, The Stream, starring Rainn Wilson, Kelly Rutherford and Christopher Gorham. The Washington Post called it, “…a family-friendly Stand By Me.”
It’s at 98% on Rotten Tomatoes and the Rainn Wilson starrer was just released on DVD and digital download on 8/26. The film has also gone international.
He also has a new educational series beginning on PBS and National Geographic Kids this fall called, “Moochie Kalala Detective Club.”
In 2013, Colin experienced much success on the festival circuit with a Superman-inspired short film that he co-penned, Little Man of Steel, starring former America’s Next Top Model contestant, Kimberly Leemans and horror short, Realitory: Welcome to the Machine.
Currently, Colin is penning a raunchy R-rated comedy for D’veloping Pictures, has an animated Superman film in pre-production and just signed with Vol. Unlimited Entertainment for representation.
