LOVE is all there is – or so it’s said. But what kind of LOVE? And how do you portray it? What problems come with the different kinds of LOVE? What sort of solutions and resolutions do different types of LOVE offer you, the story-teller? For any story to work your audience must be emotionally engaged.
IMPORTANT:
Check-in begins at 12:30 pm. Event starts at 1:00 pm.
No Refunds. No Credits.
Too often people think Love is just the romantic or sexual kind. But wait – there’s more. People experience all sorts of love at all different levels in many different ways. Spiritual love, familial love, platonic love, love of pets, love of learning, love of power and adventure, love of death and destruction, interspecies love, and transformative chivalric love. Showing us some of these other loves and how they work will help create much more interesting characters, situations, and story arcs.
Explore the mythical and psychological aspects of different types of love, plus suggestions for appropriate symbols, cinematic techniques, and The Shining Moment.
