John “Aaron” Goold – Writer/Producer/Director

Aaron Goold consumed a variety movies and music while growing up in Arizona’s east valley. He played drums for many punk and metal bands and, in 2003, created a 30-minute documentary about Arizona’s hardcore scene. In 2009, he graduated with a degree in Music Composition from City College of New York. After watching Christopher Nolan’s debut film, Following, and listening to the director’s commentary, Aaron realized, with enough persistence and creativity, anyone can make a feature movie; Immersion: A Metaphysical Wandering was conceived. Production began in the fall of 2012 and ended in early 2013. Currently, Aaron works as a freelance editor and writer in Los Angeles.
