Annie DeYoung is an award-winning writer of feature film and television scripts. In 2008, she won the WGA award and Humanitas prize in the children’s live-action categories for her teleplay JOHNNY KAPAHALA: BACK ON THE BOARD. In 2007 she won the Christopher Award for THE RON CLARK STORY, which was also nominated for a Golden Globe, Emmy, WGA and DGA awards and won the Family Film Award for Best TV Movie and the Young Artist Award for Best Family Television Movie.
Annie’s other credits include the TV series “Honey, I Shrunk the Kids,” WOOLY BOYS starring Peter Fonda and Kris Kristofferson, RETURN TO HALLOWEENTOWN with Sara Paxton and High School Musical’s Lucas Grabeel, PRINCESS PROTECTION PROGRAM starring Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez, and the 2010 Disney Channel original movie 16 WISHES.
An Honors film grad from New York University·s Tisch School of the Arts, Matt Lieberman grew up in northern New Jersey immersed in “Mad” magazines and Steve Martin albums.
Matt broke into writing features with DOCTOR DOLITTLE: FIRST DOG for Twentieth Century Fox and followed that up selling a pitch to Walt Disney Pictures with Scott Rudin producing called THE PET and a spec to Fox with Hugh Jackman attached to star called PERSONAL SECURITY.
In 2008, he was hired as a staff writer for Walt Disney Pictures’ feature division where he has worked on dozens of projects in various stages of development.
Matt is currently writing a feature adaptation of the Disneyland attraction MR. TOAD’S WILD RIDE.
After a career in advertising, and another as a commercials director, Jayson Rothwell sold his first Hollywood script in February 2007. Since then, he has worked on projects for Warner Bros, Fox, GK Films, and Legendary Pictures. Most recently, he ditched the F-bombs and bloodletting to work on Disney’s SNOW AND THE SEVEN for Gunn Films.
Heather Hutt is currently a Creative Executive at Gunn Films, located on the Disney Lot. With Walt Disney Pictures, Gunn Films has produced such recent family favorites for Disney as FREAKY FRIDAY, BEDTIME STORIES, SKY HIGH and RACE TO WITCH MOUNTAIN.
Hutt, a Massachusetts native, graduated from Boston University with a degree in Film/TV Production. Prior to working at Gunn, she worked with the VP of Production at Henceforth Pictures for Academy Award winning screenwriter William Monahan (THE DEPARTED), as well as Misher Films and Boston-based documentary production company Northern Light.
