The Visual Mindscape Of The Screenplay

Event Date: Saturday, January 25, 2014 || Speaker: Bill Boyle || Check-in: 12:30 pm ||

If film is a visual medium shouldn’t the screenplay which is the spine, heart and soul of a film also be a visual experience? In this way the reader is allowed to ‘discover’ elements of the story rather than being told. They participate in the unfolding of the story and their overall experience becomes a more visceral and luminous experience. This is the true magic of the screenplay.
