The Story Forge: Supercharge Your Work With These Story-Building Secrets

|| Virtual Event Date: Saturday, August 19, 2023 ||

|| Speaker: Jordan Morris ||

|| Start time: 1:00 pm PST ||

Most professionals agree that the majority of new scripts are grossly underdeveloped. Learn how to elevate your work with this new and innovative development process that will teach you the secrets of an impactful character arc, how to effectively deploy theme, how to structure organically, and how to create a powerful triangle of conflict between three central characters. Using this process, I’ll help you break stories in a way that elevates, inspires, and assures the effort spent writing isn’t lost on a concept that never had a chance. See more details below.

More details:

A full Story Forge process typically takes four, two-hour sessions and would be scheduled over four weeks, but in this seminar, I’ll be giving you a sample-sized version that will focus on what I believe to be the three most important pillars of effective storytelling:

  1. The effective use of theme
  2. The Protag’s Transformational Arc
  3. The Three Principal Character Archetypes and how they relate to one another.
