Nancy Shiffrin is the author of two collections of poems, The Vast Unknowing, Infinity Publishing,

B&N, and Game With Variations, unibook.com, a novel and essay, Out of the Garden/Invoking Anais Nin, Lulu.com and a script, Allison’s War, Lulu.com. Her periodical publications include, the Los Angeles Times, New York Magazine, The Outlook, The Progressive Canadian Jewish Magazine,

Lummox, Earth’s Daughters, The Advocate, Humanistic Judaism and many others.

Her awards and honorable mentions include The Academy of American Poets, The Alice Jackson Foundation, The Poetry Society of America, The Dora Teitelboim Foundation. She earned her MA studying with Anais Nin, her PhD at The Union Institute, studying Jewish American Women Authors. She was born in New York and resides in Santa Monica.
