Storyworld Development: identify the best platforms for the idea, create the storyworld and characters; write character arcs; mine the hook of the idea for all platforms to inspire storylines, technologies, merchandising, etc.; devise experiences per platform (UI, UX, social, live, Augmented Reality, Oculus Rift, interactivity, etc.)

Strategic Planning: project management, team management, tools, marketing, audience analysis, audience engagement plan (social media), funding and business models (monetization channels), platforms, tech, apps, etc.

Pre-Production: multiplatform production planning (phased planning); roll out plan for unfolding and growing the franchise; success indicators, monetization + audience; building your teams for production (each platform has a dedicated team); having all your multichannel contracts at hand (cast and crew for multiple content use.)

Production:

  • Best approach for your projects
  • Leveraging all of your digital assets (plan for multiple uses of the content)

Evette VargasWith a repertoire spanning television, digital, film mobile, multiplatform, games, comics, music and more, Evette Vargas is by no means a prototype cookie-cutter writer and creator – she is Hollywood’s new breed of multimedia talent. Evette was born in New York, where she graduated with honors from NYU Tisch School Of The Arts with a degree in Directing and Production. Evette’s senior thesis film won 15 awards, including the Best of NYU. Evette earned her MFA in Screenwriting and Showrunning from UCLA.

The company’s “creativity guru,” Evette oversees the development of original content in the areas of television, digital, film, mobile apps, games, comics, interactive and more. Evette is a mainstream and commercial writer/director of elevated and compelling TV series, digital, film and branded entertainment. By day and night, Evette writes and creates multiplatform media in two areas: action and comedy. Evette’s writing is unique. It is both commercial and substantive, presenting character-driven, high-concept plots with heart and intelligence. Evette’s resume contains notable writing, directing and interactive works, such as mobile apps for Sherlock Holmes 2; award-winning interactive media for Madonna.com; iPhone and iPad games for Nissan and Infiniti autos; music videos for Janet Jackson and Wu-Tang Clan; digital media for the Grammys and AFI’s TV specials; and online games for the Lord Of The Rings film trilogy.

Evette’s recent success includes showrunning and directing her sci-fi action thriller digital series, DARK PROPHET, starring Henry Rollins (Sons Of Anarchy) and Chase Fein (Suburgatory). The series was in contention for two 2014 EMMYS in the Interactive Category, premiered at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival, won an NBC/UNI production award and was an official selection of the WGA Writer/Director Showcase. The comic book premiered at Comic-Con 2014. The mobile app game is in the works. Evette’s comedy feature, KINGNAPPED, won a Top 30 spot in The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences Nicholl Fellowships in Screenwriting, and has attracted A-list talent and an Academy Award Winning producer. Evette’s action thriller feature, WITHER, was a Sundance Institute Screenwriting Lab Finalist. A member of the WGA, The Television Academy and NYU Tisch West Alumni Council, Evette mentors screenwriting, directing and digital media graduates.
