On Saturday, September 14, at a special members-only meeting held at the Beverly Garland Holiday Inn, the Scriptwriters Network was proud to announce the winners of the 2002 Carl Sautter Memorial Scriptwriting Competition for Film and Television:

The Feature and TV Competition Committees would like to thank all the readers and Industry Judges who participated in this year's Competition. We would also like to thank the following companies for their generous prize donations: Cinovations Software, Write Bros. Software, Take One! Our winners will now be having their scripts read by major production companies, agencies and TV shows. We wish them luck and great success. Applications for next year's Competition will become available in December.
