Join us on Saturday, March 12 as we delve into the answers to these and more fun questions with two of the most successful comedy writers working today:  STEVE HOLLAND, writer and co-executive producer of TV’s #1 comedy, THE BIG BANG THEORY; and TIMOTHY DOWLING, co-writer of such big screen hit laughers as ROLE MODELS, JUST GO WITH IT, THIS MEANS WAR and PIXELS.

Tim Dowling

Timothy Dowling was born and raised in Wellesley Hills, Massachusetts and is a graduate of the School of Theatre at the University of Southern California. As an actor he was in the films: The Beautician and the Beast, Dr. Benny, and Terminator 3. As a screenwriter he is currently one of the top comedy writers in the business. In 2009 he was named one of Variety’s Ten Writers to Watch and last year listed in Fade In’s Top 100 People In Hollywood. He has written two scripts that were sited on the prestigious Blacklist. He co-wrote the short film “George Lucas in Love” which received numerous awards at film festivals around the globe and is still the best selling short film of all time. He has written the hit films “Role Models” starring Paul Rudd and Seann William Scott; “Just Go With It” starring Adam Sandler, Jennifer Anniston and Nicole Kidman, and “This Means War” starring Chris Pine, Tom Hardy and Reese Witherspoon. As well as last summer’s “Pixels” directed by Chris Columbus and starring Adam Sandler, Peter Dinklage, Michelle Monaghan and Josh Gad. Some of Timothy’s upcoming projects include: a sequel to the 80’s classicMidnight Run entitled “Another Midnight Run” starring Robert DeNiro and an untitled project for “Pixels” director Chris Columbus and Dreamworks.

Steve Holland

Steve Holland is an executive producer of “The Big Bang Theory”.    He started his career at Nickelodeon where he wrote for such kid hits as “All That”, “Kenan and Kel”, “Drake and Josh”, “Zoey 101” and “iCarly”.  After making the transition to network TV, he worked on the “Married to the Kelly’s”, “Less Than Perfect” and “Rules of Engagement” before joining “The Big Bang Theory” in season 3.   Steve is a four time Emmy nominee and zero time Emmy winner.
